Basically I was just wondering if bagels needed to be toasted I mean I don't think I have ever eaten a bagel that wasn't toasted. I'm pretty sure there is no reason they should be toasted... about the I'm a girl thing, its a joke.

they weren't supposed to be toasted but when i buy en from places like panera bread i like them to toast my bagels, it tastes better that way to me.

Okay I just tried both toasted and regular...

My analysis is that toasted is better although my bagels wern't that fresh, a few days old so I think they would have been alot nicer fresh and untoasted.
