Obviously, pushing the matter now would be unwise. It's best to wait, and one way or another, things will sort themselves out. There's no need to feel like a twat. You can't help how you feel. Your only tool is the way you deal with that, which didn't seem to work out. It's ok though. I know it might now feel like it but it is. Depending on what message you got (only you know for sure...and her) life goes on. Love life goes on, and the dream of things to be may not be quite what you expected. Again, it's ok. I guess things have a way of working themselves out.

Now have a can of harden the fuck up and move on from this unpleasant experience. No need to be ashamed. You gave it a go and now you know (?). Fuck it. There's nothing wrong with you...and move on man.
