sell crap to dumb kids, they get busted/overdosed/killed in a dumb accident and the cops start asking who gave him his shit and they get to you eventually

Like you said it's hard to generalize. I knew some people who dealt just to pay some basic things. And I know they were trying to find work but it just so ridiculously hard these days. They weren't proud of what they were doing and would stop as soon as they could.

Some people are evil though, selling harder drugs and sometimes even to kids.

helpful considering the service they provide but usually as far as their personality they are some of the most selfish people

same applies to the legal dope dealers.. the pharmaceutical companies. theoretically they're helpful but they're some selfish money hoarding bastards.

I view drug dealers as trying to make a living, and they're good for the service.

Since, all drug dealers don't necessarily do drugs, they are good people. :]
And for people like me, who does do drugs, they are very very helpful :]

I can't really generalize. I've known a lot of shitty dealers, but I've also known a few very good people who were also dealers.

Example: One lady I used to know had 7 or 8 kids, and her abusive ex husband went to prison for murder and left her and her children with nothing in a horrible neighborhood. Since crack cocaine was a very in demand product in her area, she started dealing. No one was allowed to come to her house, or be anywhere near her children. No one was allowed to contact her past 10 PM. Anyone wanting to buy from her had to show ID and be at least over the age of 18. She questioned every person, and wouldn't sell to any girl she even thought could be pregnant. She sold crack for a few years until she had enough money to buy a home elsewhere and get her family out of the area, and then she quit.

I can't look down on her. Though I don't agree with having anything to do with illegal substances while you have children, as I view the possibility of jail time as an unnecessary threat to your family, I can respect the way she went about it. She wasn't greedy or immoral. She never fucked anyone over. She took precautions to keep her family safe.
