My cat no longer pees in her litter box.  She'll poop in there, but if she has to pee she goes somewhere else in the house and does it on the floor.  How do I retrain her to pee in the litter box?  Hell, why isn't she doing it in the first place?

I just want to prevent a repeat from last night.  Also, my parents won't tolerate the cat if it pees all over their floors.

Help?

Theres usually stuff you can buy, ull put that where she keeps going but shouldnt be - it stops stains/stinks n more importantly stops her goin back there to do it again!

N theres ones that do the opposite, draws them to a place to do there business there.

there are things you can pt down to try and stop them from peeing everywhere but tbh they don't really seem to work. For our cats we just try to put them on the tray whenever they looked like they were going to pee.

That's what I'm trying to avoid, especially since once I go to college in August they'll be handling it...and they won't want to.

I think that could be best, put your cat in the litter box when he/she looks like he/she will pee.
