Lucy- There is nothing sad about you missing him for "only" two weeks. There would be nothing sad about you missing him for "only" two days or "only" two hours. When you are in a relationship, striving to be with one another is NOT a bad thing or something to be embarrassed about.
To solve your problem, I don't think the question is what you can do to keep your mind off of him. What you should do instead is find an alternate way of looking at the situation and still keep him in your thoughts. He is your boyfriend and you SHOULD be thinking about him. To miss someone shows how much you care. To make you at least able to function in his absence, however, I would suggest taking some time to do things for yourself. When people in a relationship strive to see each other every hour of every day, you don't get enough "you" time to be alone. If you don't want to be alone, try and spend some time with your family and friends that you would otherwise not be around due to you spending time with your boyfriend.
Remember: He's somewhere else, but he's thinking of you, too.
