I am going to be an RA at our college and he is still a Resident in the dorms. Will I have a benefit because I will be looked upon as authority or someone more in charge?
If you mean will you be able to abuse your power, then probably.
I wouldnt recomend that though, its not really fair.
I would assume (depending on the dorm, college, and people) you will get a little bit more respect, and he may try to suck up if he sees any advantage to it.
