Blimey! I don't envy you yanks, in that respect, your kinda in the stone age with religon. Though were no better here tbh, instead we have other peoples religon forced down out throat, and MERCIFUL ZUES FORBID we mention christianity for fear of being labelled 'racist' and 'extremist'...but no by all means invite the other relions in to the UK to bloody blow it up. Sorry little off topic there.

I just looked at some articles that discuss the site the student found and I don't think it was because she was Wiccan, but mainly because the site had photographs of her performing a Wiccan ritual in the nude. But since this happened back in 2000, I have been looking to see what the end result was but haven't been able to find anything about what happened and so forth.
in the third article i posted, it said that the site had numerous warnings against minors. that she didnt partake in the nudity, and that the pictures didnt actually SHOW anything, but that it was able to tell that they were nude
Even so, as a teacher, it's your responsibility to not expose your students to that kind of thing. There's no need for it. Just as you wouldn't complain about a teacher who had a nonreligious site with nude pictures on it being fired, there's no reason to complain in this case. It's not religious discrimination; it's an acknowledgement that teachers need to have some responsibility when it comes to what their students may be exposed to.

It doesn't matter. Teachers have a responsibility to either not be associated with that kind of thing or to keep it private. Furthermore, a warning against minors on the internet is somewhat akin to having a guardsnail.
