my whole family is going on a 3 week fast. i'm not allowed out of the house to get food, and they're throwing all the food away that's in the house. i'm confined to my room and the bathroom, and i can't leave to get food. my parents say it's to lose weight. i'm allowed to have sugar free gum and water, but that's it. how do i keep my mind off of food and how do i keep myself occupied? the only thing they're leaving in the house is a box of cerial in each room, but we can't eat it. how do i make myself not want the cerial? how can i keep my mind off food???

That is absolutely wrong, and not a healthy way to lose weight. It is very dangerous, you are supposed to want food.
Tell your parents you don't want to do it, they cant make you stop eating.
