Alright, it's currently 7:27am, and I haven't yet been to sleep.  I'll probably go to sleep in a couple hours, and sleep until 4 or so, because I have to work at 5:30.  Now, I don't know why I do this, but to be honest, it's been working absolutely great for me.  I have so much more energy, I find my time awake so much more enjoyable and useful, and I get things accomplished.  I guess night time is just so much more peaceful and calming for me, and that's why I like it.  I feel like this is just what my body should naturally do, you know?

Does anybody see any problem with this?  My dad has been giving me a bunch of crap about it lately, and I told him to either give me a valid reason not to do it, or to quit bugging me about it.  He couldn't come up with anything other than that it's "not natural."  Now, while it might not be common, I believe this is natural for my body.  One main reason as to why we think we need to sleep at night is because that for a majority of time, there was nothing to do at night.  It was too dark to accomplish anything.  Now, we have all kinds of things to do at night, so what's wrong with it if we can get the same things done?

Does this happen to anybody else?  Does anybody think I may have some condition such as insomnia?  Any other thoughts or opinions?

yeah I would say it's ok as long as you're getting enough sleep and it doesn't stop you getting things done that you need then it doesn't really matter if you sleep in the day

Our bodys need daylight and sunshine for various different functions. Although you are not feeling it yet it could be detrimental to your physical and mental health in the future.  Also theres nothing to do unless you are in a big city after a certain time?

Well, I live in a small town, so there's not too much to do outside of my house, but I still have plenty of thinkgs to do.  I do work, read, watch TV, go online, build things, stuff like that.

I know that out bodies need sunlight, and I still get several hours of it a day, but maybe just not as much.  I usually get a few hours after I wake up.  If I get up at 4, then I have about 4 or 5 hours of sunlight there, and if I stay up until 8am, there's another 3 hours or so.  What sort of body functions rely on more sunlight than that?

I have the same sleeping pattern, because I work nights. I work 10pm-7am, and don't usually go to bed until 9 or 10, and then I sleep until six or seven.

Make sure your picture is full of life and happiness,
and at the end of the day you don't look at it
and wish you had painted something different.

I tend to work better at night, too. I had a very similar sleeping pattern between the ages of 15 and 18, when I was finishing up high school online. I felt and still feel much more at ease at night than I do during the day.

But do you actually go out into the daylight and get that fresh air and sunlight?
