do you think its unfair to kids for their parents to not celebrate birthdays or Christmas or any other holiday? so no presents or anything... it just seams depressing

i agree. if thats the way they want to bring their children up thats their choice.
the kid doesnt have to follow suit, as soon as theyre old enough, they can make their own decision.

Well if they've grown up with it, they don't know any better. I don't agree with them having to follow the same rules as their parents, though.

true... but i think if they didn't have anything, like no kids party's or just anything similar that the kids missing out on a big part of their childhood, its not like they can do that again when they're 20. i mean not necessarily birthdays or Christmas but they should have something if they can afford it... i have a friend who didn't have anything, never went to party's as a kid never got presents... its just sad

if you never have a party or go to one or celebrate anything when your a kid i think your missing out on something that you can never get back, it just seems unfair.

my grandparents where jehovah's witnesses and they didn't celebrate christmas or birthdays with greetings cards or gifts, they would give money though.
i never got that.

It's unfair to not give Christmas presents just as much as it's unfair to not give Channukah or Rohatsu presents.

I say give kids presents for every reason or holiday any kid might be able to get presents for anywhere ever that will make them happy.
