But.. why do you need it?
I live in Britain, and I know no one who carries stuff like that around, coincidently, I also know no one who's been attacked. But i agree, having the alarm is probably better because:
a) You don't have to carry a huge thing around, so it's more discreet etc.
b) It won't anger the attacker that much more - but I'm sure being sprayed with foam will anger them.
