Ok, so i just bought a new laptop with Windows Vista premium... and it has microsoft office preloaded on it, but i thought that maybe it was just a trial version.. but it looks like the real thing. So is it, does anyone know?

You'll find out in time whether or not it's a trial. At that time, uninstall it (this won't make you lose all your docs), and install OpenOffice instead. It's free office software that can do anything Word can do. Also, when you're making docs in word, when saving them make the file format one of the older word formats (2000 maybe?) so that openoffice can open them. Or pay like $150 for word.
