There was a bug that fucked up a lot of the older topics.
Yeah, I heard that the bug (or power failure or whatever) caused a lot of archived topics to lose replies or even the topics themselves!
Like I, for example have a "topic" in which the page consists of 1 reply. It was totally random and I don't think we will get them back
