Ever wonder about that mysterious blue fluff you pull out of your belly-button at the end of the day? Well, if you do notice such things, there are two things I can assume about you: you wear lots of blue, black and grey and you have a hairy belly. :D You see, belly button fluff comes from our clothes. Black/grey clothing is actually tinted blue if you look at it under a microscope. So that's where the blue comes from.
As for the hairy belly: ever notice that the hair on your belly all points towards your belly button? These hairs tend to pull fibers towards the belly button, therefore if the hairier your belly is the more belly button fluff you accumulate. That's why women and children generally don't have belly button fluff.
