very cute.

do they have heath problems like other "miniaturized" animals do?

That is what I'm not sure of. So I don't know if I can fully agree with this breeder or not.
I've seen breeders who breed small pot-bellied pigs, but these people are the only ones who breed 'Royal Dandies' (they've trademarked the name) as miniature pot-bellied pigs.
And of course, they won't admit it outright on their website.

They're cute and all, but I would never get one instead of a dog.

Pigs have been domesticated for a very long time, anyway.

Like women?

Honest question: is it really humane/ethical to be using our technology to genetically engineer designer pets?

Is it actually genetic modification or is it just selective breeding?

I am pretty sure it is just selective breeding.

Pot bellied pigs have existed forever.

It's definitely not genetic engineering with technology.
They are just bred down in size. Though be it vastly, it doesn't take much to do it.

20-70 pounds? That is quite a range, wow.

I would love one that is 20 pounds, but over 30 is way too big for my taste.
