My girlfriend got fragile when I told her that I was visiting my parents' place. I like this girl...and made (perhaps) the mistake of telling her about a mutual, silly crush I had with my (step) sister which has come back to haunt me...

I told her how I felt when I was spending time with my sis - it just happened and I blabbed to my gf. She got really upset.

For some reason, my gf is dying to see it through. I guess she thinks I'm kinda special. I've told her what you're probably thinking, but she's determined to live happily ever after and all that...

My sis wants me to stick with this girl, but I'm just not sure about anything anymore. I like her, but...I dunno.  With all this? Is it right? Is it even WHAT I WANT?

Before anyone flames, think about this: Try not to judge, lest ye be judged, but if you felt this way about someone (anyone) how would you deal with it? How would you feel? I guess we can't change how we feel. You can't pretend either because in the long run you hurt everyone more. I want to wait for my sis. I have been waiting. I've wished for it, dreamed about it, waited...it seems endless...and I don't even know if she'll have me for sure.

Basically, this is the second girlfriend that I've had a falling out with over my step sister. It always seems like second best, even though I really like my girlfriend. I just feel terrible, and I don't know what to do.

I don't want pity, or sympathy. I'm a trooper. No, literally. Anyway, suggestions and empathy is welcome. Does anyone know where I'm coming from? What can I do?

I'd personally not want to go out with my sister but at the end of the day its u that makes the decision..if u really love her, u can give it a try

If nothings going to happen with your sister anytime soon, then i suggest you try and forget about your crush on her and concentrate on your current relationship..difficult, i know but hang in there
