Well I had  Windows Vista (Yeah I know poor me...) I decided that I wanted to get a ride of it, so I installed the Windows 7 Beta and when I did I formatted my hard drive to remove the OS, or so I thought. I think that it left the OS on there but I can't figure out how to remove it and get arid of all the data. Can anyone tell me how?

Wow glad to see no one is of any help... Fucken retards...

Oh and MrGregoryMahony, are you fucken gay? Also, only computer illiterate people would mess up a computer, I did what I was supposed to and it did not work. I formatted it and when I installed the Windows 7 OS I choose to remove it, but the files were retained somehow. Also I do not sit around and scratch my balls all day, I have your mother for that, you know just like you have your boyfriend.

DaisyMontana, I got arid of Vista because it was garbage and I did not like it, and it was slow as shit. I can tell you right now it is not my computer being slow, I have 2 gigz of Ram and I have completely revamped my computer for gaming and it does not have many games that can make it run slow.

You might have just installed it beside your Vista installation.  Just put in a Linux Live-cd and use GParted (sometimes called Partition Manager in the menus) and format the drive to something Windows can't install to (ie: ext2, ext3, ext4), and then restart.  When you run the Win7 installer it will be forced to format the drive (NTFS).

Well I ran the command prompt to see if there was a remains of Windows Vista and there wasn't. It is just the folders but I can't find them anywhere.
FOUND IT! The computer took it to itself to back up all my files in a folder called Windows.old. I am looking at how much memory was in it and it is reaching 70gB as I type....
