I have this ex, "Ian", and we just recently broke up because I have feelings for someone else, actually, my first love...he's kinda come back into my life. I am confused though because idk what to do about Ian. I still want to stay good friends with him, and he wants to too, but I don't want to lead him on or give hm false hope. Is it possible to really just be good friends without him thinking more will come of it again someday?

Ex's don't work for friends very well because and I believe that even if it comes to a mutual agreement to be just friends one will fall for the other eventually. But you can sure give it a go. I mean you really cannot control what he feels. So good luck.
