Say you were born outside of the US and you moved there when you were two. Your mother is the only one who is a citizen because she took that test. Will that make you become a citizen as well? Or just a legal resident?
And if you do become a citizen, are you able to vote for a president or just mayor/governor.
If you're a legal resident, are you supposed to take the test yourself to become a citizen?

you are a legal resident, i think you need to take the tests. you can vote after being a citizen and living here for a number of years... but i think you probably have surpassed those number of years already if you've been here since u were 2
