Hello.

Im a 16 year old and currently weigh around 100-105kgs.

My friend and i are thinking of helping me lose weight at the end of this year. Well my target weight is to reach 75-80kgs.

I'm going to start going to the gym with my friend everyday for like 1-2 hours.

I was just wondering how long would it take to lose about 20kgs? If i eat healthy and go to the gym 1-2 hours a day, 4-5 times a week.

Because i have always thought what it would be like to be skinny... Also my goal is to become skinny before The beginning of school next year.

Any extra tips would be nice.

=) thank you.

a healthy weight loss is around 1-1.5kgs a week, so... 5, 6 months maybe? also, 1-2 hours at the gym is pretty intense

Firstly, i would like t give you props for not going crazy and tell us you are going to starve yourself and make your goal weght 20kg, you seem to have done your homework and know the reasonably healthy weight  (depending on your height, but thats good :) and right way to go about losing it.

you could lose 20kg in five months i guess, just try to eat as healthy as you can, eat yogurt and other sorces of calcium and protein, fruit, vegies that are in season, pm me If you want :)
you don't have to limit your diet too much but healthy is healthy and eventually you could get a diet that you are comfortable to manage everyday

I'm not sure how long it will take, but I can offer a couple of tips:

If you get a craving for something unhealthy. Like chocolate, or fast food. Buy a small bar/meal and SHARE it! Because if you just keep putting it off, the cravings will become unbearable.
Also, when you eat a meal, eat it slowly. It fills you up quicker. Not only do you feel more satisfied for longer, but you feel fuller while eating less

Hope it helps

also try not to mix high protein foods with high carbohydrate foods, it really makes a difference, just have a high protein meal one day for dinner or watever and carbs the next, ie, dont have rice with chicken. also dont eat after 7pm if u can help it
