Ok, here's my question: Is it legal to own a Intratec TEC-DC9, or more informally, a TEC-9? I realize the KG-9 models and everything with either a threaded muzzle, barrel shroud, or an open bolt(easy conversion to automatic) makes it classified as an assault pistol, and is therefore prohibited. I am looking more toward the AB-10 model. What licenses would be required? Simply PAL and Handgun/restricted? Or is it still banned? I'm in Canada, BTW.

I don't know what license would be required, but they are not banned. AB-10, the AB stands for After Ban. It's classified as a hand gun.
