Why is everyone against Iran getting Nuclear power?
I mean Pakistan has Nuclear power and Nuclear weapons. I think Pakistan could actually be more dangerous than Iran too.

Im all for a Nuclear Iran. The Iranians need a Nuclear powered country.

Cheers to Iran on a step towards a nuclear future.

The people who argue this are idiots. If Iran wants nuclear power they DONT NEED enriched uranium. Just because the US does...(we made the rest of the world use other moderators like heavy water and hence no need for fuel enrichment b/c of the McM*something act...)

Considering that "Ahmenijad" [sic] is a ardent Holocaust denier, hosted a Holocaust denier conference, and has said this lovely gem:

"Thanks to people's wishes and God's will the trend for the existence of the Zionist regime is [headed] downwards and this is what God has promised and what all nations want. Just as the Soviet Union was wiped out and today does not exist, so will the Zionist regime soon be wiped out.
...

It's a safe bet that "Ahmenijad" [sic] is either mentally unstable or can fake it very well.

Anyway, assuming you dislike nuclear warfare, it's very obvious why preventing nations of concern such as Iran from developing nuclear weapons. Even if Iran just used one nuclear bomb against Israel, the fallout would spread across the globe. When the Chernobyl power plant melted down, fallout was recorded in the United States, thanks to the jet stream blowing it our way.

Then again, I'm willing to bet you are anti-Israel, so anything that gets those evil Joos off land that is legally theirs, right?

I'll help, albeit for different reasons.  The man is not a rational actor in terms of international relations theory, and therefore is an unknown quantity.  Rational actors have nuclear weapons as a deterrent against attack, and this has been proven to work time and again.  There is no way to rationally predict whether an irrational actor will use the nukes, consequences be damned.  It throws the risk calculus out the window, and is an unnecessary risk that the world community is (rightfully so) unwilling to take.

There are nuclear non-proliferation treaties and rationales to be considered, too.

Well, sure, if it were an occupation, and Hamas were not blowing innocent Israeli civilians on a daily basis.  Another argument for another day, I suppose.

The Hamas suck! Its a bloody conflict though. Look at the video of the Israeli soldier shooting the civilian in the foot. Or the Israeli Firing the tank at Palestinian civilians

I'm not against them getting nuclear power, I'm not even against them obtaining fissionable material.

They want to get nukes let them.  I think getting involved ins topping them is a useless drain on our resources and time.
