I fucking hate all the soldiers that went to war in Iraq and then complain about it and support Obama because he will get them out of there.  Why do they do this?  They signed up to go into the Army, and they were fully aware that they could be deployed.

I appreciate what they do for this country.  But I appreciate it less and less whenever they act like babies.

And no, going into the army wasn't their only option, some of you might say.  They could have gotten jobs, even if it was just minimum wage.

Do do understand that you can want to fight for your country but not necessarily agree with leadership decisions, right?

They can believe in the principle of defending their country without believing in a shitty, unnecessary war that has destabilised an entire region.

Well, maybe they experienced things they didn't expect when they were out there. Maybe they can't handle it anymore. Maybe they developed emotional problems. Maybe they want to go get jobs now. Maybe they feel that they are fighting for something that isn't worth it. It's a very personal thing, I think they deserve to do whatever they want

I think we'd have to understand everything that soldiers experience in order to have a legit opinion. Wanting to serve and actually serving is completely different.
