system restore wont get them back, u need to download restoration, its a program for restoring files thats free, and a full version, unlike everything else, download it, run the wizard, then just select what you want to restore and restore it.its easy to use, just try not to change any files on your hard drive unto you to that

Well there are several ways to recover lost files.

1. You could go to a professional computer repair place and they will do it.

2. System restore. This can be done by going to: Start- All Programs - Accessories - System Tools- System restore. Restore to a date when you still had the files, and Boom they will be back.

3. Use software. There are several software programs available, Some free and some paid, that will recover deleted files.
