It depends. He normally says it. I normally only get hurt if he doesn't say it after a conversation that didn't go so well (i.e., a mini-fight or something). Because it makes me feel like he loves me less because we fought. But generally I just takes it in stride.

To tell you something no one wants to come to terms with....but (worse case senario) what if that was the last time you got to talk to him? Its always a good thing to say it before you get off the phone. Me and my bf don't ever get off the phone without saying it. Even if were in a fight.
