The ad reads "Wanted: woman to talk to. Three nights a week. Pays $300 each night. At least for 6 months. Please call --- --- ----."

If you knew, somehow (just assume you do) that the job were legitimate, and you were not walking into a trap, would you take the job? Keep in mind, you have to be there every night you are meant to be there. And the guy is more like a therapist than anything else. Just, you get paid, instead of the other way around.


This is the plot of my book that I'm reading, so that's why I'm asking. I thought it was interesting. I would answer the ad in a heartbeat, even if I already had a job.

yeah probably. Just as long as I clearly set the rules that nothing was to happen. and I would be a bit skeptical the first night and call it a "trial run"
