But I would have enough faith in my boyfriend to not get all clingy and jealous.

I agree with this, you have to let him know that you're not a crazy controlling freakazoid girlfriend, but, he needs to know that you're not completely comfortable with the prospect but are okay as long as it's on a friends only basis
