Well I have to argue against that. He thought everything I did was stupid. I used to write a lot but while we were together I didn't do anything at all. Now writing makes me sick.
I actually have thought about burning all my writing myself.
Maybe the dream was just showing me how much I really do love my writing. My ex is just always tormenting me. That's all he did while we were together, so he's a constant in my nightmares now.

Well there you have it, your dream means that he has tried to sabotage your writings by thinking it's silly, when it means so much to you, the fact that he may have burnt it shows that maybe you should write again, and not to let him destroy what you loved to do.

By him burning them makes it look like he has won in stopping you from writing, when the only one who can do that is you.
