Okay, so I bought the chocolate chip Betty Crocker cookie mix at the store, and had no butter, so I used this spread stuff instead. Is there anyway I can make my cookies more cake-y tasting or super soft? When I take them out, they're super soft and hot, and when they cool, the outside gets pretty hard and the middle is stiff-ish and chewy. How do I fix that?

Microwave them for like 20 seconds before eating them, they will get soft again.

Ohh, thanks, but I mean like to keep them soft through the day. Like I bring them to school during our snack time and eat them with friends(: So I dont want them hard.

Baking your own cookies won't always get the same result as the packaged, preserved, and processed cookies you buy at the grocery store.
