i was headed to daytona
had my guitar on my back
when a stranger stopped beside me
in a stock car colored black.
he was dressed like a nascar driver
mustach, and mirrored eyes
he said its a long way to florida
would you like a ride son?
i climbed in through the roll cage
as he fired that chevy up
the badges on his suit said
he won seven winston cups.

i forgot the rest but its a really good song.
