Question

Evaluate the following without using a calculator

343 ^1 1/3

1 1/3 = 4/3

So Inverse cube root of 343^4 and then Ill get answer which is 2401

Would I need to do 343^4 fully to work this out because it seems a bit far fetched for this question.

Once done how would I work out the cube root without calc?

you can cube root it before u do it to the power of 4 if that helps
so then youd have a smaller number to do to the power of 4

just so -
cube rt.of 343 = 7 by a bit of trial and error
then 7^4 = 49 x 49
well 50 x 49 = 2450
take away 49 gives 2401
All this you can do without a calc
