i also have never met anyone who has a problem with interracial relationships, that i know of. but there are people who dont approve of it. alot of familes dont want their children to marry someone outside their race.

It tends to depend upon where you are. With my ex (black), we got a couple rude looks here in Florida when over in the hick part of the county, but that was it. It was never a problem down here. Family up north gave us some shit, though. My mother (white) and her husband (black) have the same experience. No real issues down here, but the moment they go up north (Kentucky and Tennessee), they start having problems. My "friend" and I (he's Asian, we live together, and I guess we're kind of "together") haven't had any issues outside of my mother (she thinks all Asian men are small dicked serial killers), but we haven't gone up north, and our families don't know. I figure it would likely be the same deal with him if we went up to visit my family.
