They're just plain wrong. Schools should teach the truth indiscriminately.
If someone didn't believe in sums, we wouldn't consider letting them skip maths class.
But some people genuinely believe evolution to be completely wrong.
In which case they should gather facts and present them as evidence. Not just decide that it's wrong because a god did it.

The wonderful thing about science is that it is not subject to opinion. It doesn't care if it hurts people's feelings. It is simply information, and science classes exist to dispense this information to the masses.
I know they're wrong - I'm just stating the fact that some people do genuinely believe science to a be scam.

A policeman does not have to go back in time to prove who murdered whom, and a scientist does not have to go back in time to prove what happened to what.
We gather evidence, and draw conclusions.

False - murderers are often found out because of EVIDENCE - DNA, for example.

But they wouldn't just use the DNA or fingerprints or whatever. It's an accumulation of vast amounts of evidence which means the police can prove who the murderer is. Flimsy evidence doesn't stand up in court - if evolution was only backed up by one piece of evidence, people wouldn't believe it.

Some creationists genuinely believe that fossils etc. are all fake, and that they've planted by God so that he can find out who the true believers really are
