I despise these people who only care about socializing when there are drugs or alcohol involved. It's like they can't just relax and hang out with their friends if they're not getting stoned. Even worse is when you basically can't be their friends unless you do these things constantly like they do.
It's increasingly depressing because there are plenty of acquaintances I've lost just for this fact. I'm not saying it's not fun to get drunk or stoned while you're with your friends but do you have to be stoned every single time we hang out? Is there really nothing better to do?

I'm not against drugs and alcohol at all. It's only the fact that people need to be constantly doing it to have a good time that bothers me.

Yea... my cousin was one of my best friends, I practically hung out with him everyday, but he became a MAJOR pot head, everytime we were suppossed to hang out he was high and he always wanted me to get high with him. I did a couple of times, but I really don't like the stuff and I'd rather not fuck my life up with it. So, unfortunatnly I hardly ever see him anymore, he really isn't even himself anymore anyway.

all my friends are like that. we sit around, talk, and listen to music while high or drunk. seriously we can do those things sober but they think its funner to do those things while drunk or high
