I was watching this video, and according to the NT scholar, the concept of Original Sin is non Biblical. According to the scholar, Original Sin is based on the works of St. Agustine who was using a bad translation of the Latin Vulgate (I thought he could read Greek but anyways). Apparently, the passage in Romans does not actually speak of original sin. The issue of original sin has been further compounded by Martin Luther, who went so far as to argue that the epistle of James should be taken out of the NT because it talks of good deeds over faith, or more precisely, faith is dead without good works - something Martin Luther, unlike the concept of original sin, clearly did not believe in. Now, if Original Sin is unbiblical, why don't more Christian scholars hold this position today? Is it simply tradition, where centuries of past scholars can't be wrong?
