At my store today, a woman came in with her kids. Little ones. Maybe 6-8 years old. She walked over to Starbucks and ordered herself a latte, bent over her kids, and asked them if they wanted anything.

She got them each mocha frappuccinos.

WHY does a kid that young need coffee? Is it really that difficult for them to stay awake in church that you have to pump caffeine into them while making it seem fun by serving it half frozen?

I bet she was regretting it later when they were bouncing off the walls.

Maybe they like them? My brothers and sister drunk tea and coffee from a young age. So my parents gave me some when I was about 7 or 8 but I didn't like it.

Frappuccino isn't exactly the strongest of coffees. Maybe they like the taste? I know I did at that age.

They are made with the same coffee the regular mochas are made with.

All it is is an icee.

Diluted due to the ice, causing longer digestion and thus less of an effect from the caffeine. Probably little more than a glass of coke.
