Maybe they like the taste?
So my kid likes the taste of crack, it's okay to give it to him?

Comparing coffee with crack is highly intelligent, yes...

That's called spoiling your children.

Yet you failed to rebut.

I was making a highly outrageous point, but it's still there. Crack and caffeine are both drugs, neither of which a child should be having a regular dose of.

One frappuccino is not regular, and caffeine is not addictive enough for sporadic doses to cause it. Crack, on the other hand, is.

Frappuccino isn't exactly the strongest of coffees. Maybe they like the taste? I know I did at that age.

They are made with the same coffee the regular mochas are made with.

All it is is an icee.

Diluted due to the ice, causing longer digestion and thus less of an effect from the caffeine. Probably little more than a glass of coke.

There's not that much ice in it.
I've made them myself. I know how they're made.
And it's not something a 6 year old needs.
There is more than caffeine in coffee, as well.

just a treat, jeez. i was given coca-cola in a baby bottle when i was about a year old. its just a treat for being good while mums out shopping..

And I was given whiskey to make me go to sleep.
Just because it happens to you doesn't make it a good thing.

i drank caffeinated drinks when i was younger because i have pretty severe ADD and the caffeine is actually calming for me, and my parents didn't want me on the medicine the doctor wanted, so if i really needed to be focused they'd give me coffee.  I don't agree with it though, there are alternatives even for what my parents were trying to do.

The way the OP told the story it seemed that it was a regular occurrence.

No, it's not, but that doesn't mean a regular dose is good for a child, not does it mean they should be having any, which they shouldn't. Caffeine is a stimulant and it's just not a good idea to give small children it, especially since its effects will be enhanced because of their small stature and early development.

Well let's not forget all the air whipped up in it too. I've had them, and I can judge volumes, and the physical space they take up almost doubles. As well as diluting the caffeine, it dilutes everything else. Just a little stretch of the imagination is all I ask.
