So I went to my Student Support Services Counselor at school, who I have to see once a semester, for the first time on Thursday. I'm not doing to hot in school, and it's due to my inability to pay attention. It's not that I'm stupid; I took the placement tests and aced them. My classes are easy, I just can't pay attention. I was the same in High School, it was just easier to skip and not be threatened to be dropped, and I could get away with anything there.
So anyway, my counselor told me that I should see my doctor about it to see if he could perscribe me something for my inattentiveness [adhd]. So I did today, and he is referring me to a counselor in town so that she can test me for ADHD and whatnot. All in all, I have to see a shrink.
So my friends and...EVERYONE has been fucking with me all day because I have to go to a shrink. Like saying I'm crazy and shit.
So is it THAT weird for someone to have to go to counseling or whatever? I never thought so. I've actually been to counseling a few times before as well, usually the whole family. I never really thought anything about it, I guess. I just didn't think it was weird.
