I took a molecular bio class over the summer, and we ran a couple gels. 2/3 times, the advertisement was false, and the so called "organic" food was actually genetically modified.

GMO'd foods aren't as bad as you think. Usually they just add a gene to the soy/corn product to help it survive in the winter/produce more product etc. An overwhelming amount of your food is genetically modified...there's nothing you can do about it.

Uh, quite a lot. I used to get so riled about GM shite.

You know that most supermarket milk is from cows that have been fed GM crops? And there is absolutely no requirement for them to put this detail on the packaging either.

But yeah, most of the stuff that I know (legislation, trials etc) is relevant to the UK. I'm not sure if it's relevant to you.

Anyway, it's nearly 2am here, but if you want me to reel off some stuff, I can talk tomorrow.
