Of course you can find love anywhere, but that doesn't mean that it is not possible to have a soul mate. That one person that in an essence "completes you".

I believe in soul mates, but I will not dismiss the fact that there could be multiple people who could be your soul mate, it is just up to you which one you find first.

I don't see how believing in soulmates is "pre-teen bullcrap". The only thing here that is even remotely related to preteen bullcrap, is you trying to convince me that my man is not my soulmate.
Pre-teens tend to believe in things that have no scientific foundation, like cooties, horoscopes, jinxes, chain-letters with promises that you will make out with your crush if you repost them 5 times, cootie-catchers, and soul-mates. I'm trying to convince you that NO man is your soul-mate, because there is simply no such thing as soul-mates.
Horoscopes and the idea of soulmates are completely different, and not even worth comparing.
Are you serious? Horoscopes and soul-mates are closely related, because they both fall under the category of "unfounded bullshit." Both of them have no scientifically basis, and both of them can be easily disproved with a little fucking critical thinking. They also both fall into the beliefs of the immature. It isn't bad enough that you simply believe in it; I noticed other people in this forum that mentioned that they themselves believed in soul-mates. But you defend it so staunchly and so arrogantly that it makes your belief in such a ludicrous idea almost offensive.

Whether or not soul mates exist is an opinion. You will never convince me that there is no such thing as a soul mate, because I 100% believe that it is true. I have found my soul mate, and that is all the proof that i need to know that it is real. Again, that is an opinion. Perhaps you need to go look up the difference between fact and opinion, because you seem to be getting them confused. A fact is something that you can prove or disprove. You cannot prove that soul mates are not real. Whether or not they have scientific basis does not mean that they do not exist. Love has not scientific basis, but everyone know that it still exists. Soul mates cannot be disproved. A little "critical thinking" does nothing but make your opinion. You opinion does not make something real or fake, sorry to disappoint you. What is immature is trying to convince someone that their beliefs and opinions are wrong. Having an opinion does not make someone immature. I really don't care if you find my opinion offensive, because quite frankly, what some little twit on the internet has to say will not effect me in the least. I know my husband is my soul mate. You can have your opinion, because unlike you, I know that everyone is entitled to their own.

Whether or not soul mates exist is an opinion.
So it's all an opinion? Then why the hell did you say THIS earlier? :
I don't need to keep telling myself anything. I know it is a FACT. Keep telling yourself it isn't real.
Anyways...
A fact is something that you can prove or disprove.
A fact is something that I can DISPROVE? If I disprove something, then it isn't real, and it isn't fact. So all that's left is "A fact is something you can prove." You can't prove that soul-mates exist, so they must not. But you say:
You cannot prove that soul mates are not real.
I can't prove that Zeus and Apollo are not real, does that mean that they are? That's not how logic works. In order for something to be a fact, it must be PROVEN.
Whether or not they have scientific basis does not mean that they do not exist. Love has not scientific basis, but everyone know that it still exists.
Yea, but love isn't tangible; you can't touch it, etc. Plus, everyone's definition of love varies. Soul-mates, on the other hand, can technically be "touched", "heard", etc. Whether or not they exist can be proven. Also, the definition of soul-mates is "two people who were MEANT for each other" (any other definitions aren't too different). You must prove that this is true in order for it to be accepted. Cooties don't have any scientific basis, so why don't you believe in THEM?
Soul mates cannot be disproved.
Invisible unicorns can't be disproved. I guess that's a good enough reason to believe in them too
A little "critical thinking" does nothing but make your opinion. You opinion does not make something real or fake, sorry to disappoint you.
Having an opinion does not make someone immature.
You don't have just an opinion, you have a belief in something immature. It is clear to me that you haven't even thought about whether or not soul-mates really exist, yet you defend your opinion with such arrogance, that it's quite amusing.
I know my husband is my soul mate.
Don't you mean "I believe my husband is my soul mate"?
