Oh, so you're a tailgater?

Sometimes I accidentally hit my e-brake when people tailgate me.

A fine and probably some sort of driving class. Your insurance will also go up.

So you weren't following too closely.  You just ran into someone?

It varies on the officer, I think.  Also, maybe its not true but something to consider:  The weather and time of day.  If its during rainy weather and you're driving "restlessly" then you'll def. get a fine.

If someone is tailgating close enough just slamming the brakes is enough.  Most people get the idea to back off after that.  If it does become a collision (not an accident, accident implies no one is at fault) just say a squirrel ran out in the road.

Totally intelligent - damage your own vehicle over someone else's stupidity. Nice one.

It's all worth it if I get to kill them.  After I stop their car, I usually get out and put a few shotgun slugs between their eyes.  Then I eat their organs.

You see, it's an investment!  And dents aren't damage unless you want to sell the car.

No, they have to pay for it. If you have medical bills because of "whiplash", they have to pay for it.

You're missing my point -

Pulling on the emergency brake at any speed above ZERO MPH can damage the system. How? It can grind flat spots onto tires.. stretch the cable unnecessarily.. heat the emergency brake element within your brake assembly, I've seen it go as far as the cable locking up and having to have the car towed or cutting the cable..

Clearly , you don't know what you're talking about, nor does the one who said he's going to "pull on his E-brake" , joking or not..

The cable can also break entirely as it had with my old cavalier... Then again I never bothered fixing it just for the hilarity of making my passengers THINK it worked when I pulled it... Point aside, if someone pulls an ebrake in front of me while I'm in my truck, they best be prepared for having my bumper in their shoulder.
