This, boys and girls, is how statutory rape occurs when unbeknown to the older person, or "rapist."  

For the person in the first quote, if you truly cared about your boyfriend at all, you would have told him how old you were long before things got too involved.  Your omitting that information, or perhaps even lying, could potentially screw things up for your boyfriend quite a bit, whether you two have sex or not.  

If there's anything these quotes should tell you, it's to make sure you know how old somebody is before you find yourself geting involved with them.  Perfectly fine people have wound up in jail and on the sex offender registry thanks to this kind of bullshit.

i did lie but it was after the fact we had already had sex which i did loose my virginity to him and i couldnt take it anymroe so i i told him he was mad at first but it was too late. and we werent even together before we had sex so he had no reason to know how old i was.

I'm surprised he wouldn't simply leave you - there is no way I'd personally commit myself to somebody who could lie to me about something that could potentially incriminate me like that.  You do realize that your lying could potentially lead him into having a lengthy jail sentence and being branded as a sex offender for life, do you not?  I have seen people get 10 years in prison, and listed on the sex offender registry for life (thereby limiting where they can live and work), for the same kind of thing between you and your boyfriend.

How can you do that to him and still say you love him, or even care about him?

I can't say I know what its like to have a gap that big, but I do know that you can't help who you fall in love with. People like us that keep falling for people of different age gaps (in my case the last 4 gf) wish everyday that they where just a little closer to our age.

It doesn't matter how guilty you feel.  Your situation with him could potentially incriminate him, and while you may feel regret for that, that does not make anything "right" or convince any jury that he's "innocent."

But at least you seem to understand that based on what you've said, and that was my point.  No harsh feelings intended or anything, but do at least be mindful when you lie about shit like that in the future.

it all seemed pretty fucking harsh to me. but i dont really care what you have to say because  you dont know me. you dont know him. i didnt plan on lying to him i didnt even plan on being with him i didnt plan on caring. its hard enough to find someone you love and truley care about but when you cant be with him and tell the world about it. its even harder.
