My point is that it's irrelevant to mention similar customs when the similar customs derive exclusively from the religion. Ladino and Yiddish are very different. Klezmer and the music of Arab Jews is presumably quite different.

Judaism is exclusively religion/ethnic identity, and not a culture. If the only cultural features shared by the different Jewish groups are derived from the religion, they can't be said to be cultural similarities at all.

It is Jewish blood which makes one a Jew. Jews actively try to discourage converts. Orthodox judaism is the most traditionally religious group there is.

They study mishna, gemara, talmud, navi, psalms, torah, rashi, rambam, modern commentators etc.
