Can someone t ell me the answers to these questions please? I don't know if Im doing it right. A solution would be appreciated but not necessary:

The minimum takeoff speed for a certain airplane is 84.0 m/s. What minimum acceleration is required if the plane must leave a runway of length 1030 m ?

A ball is thrown straight up from the surface of the earth with and initial speed of 12.9 m/s. Neglecting any effects due to air resistance, what is the magnitude of the ball's displacement (from
the starting point) after 0.60 s has elapsed?

u = 0
v = 84
s = 1030

v^2 = u^2 + 2as
