Seriously! I work two jobs: one as a housekeeper at a hotel, and another as work-study at the college. However, the hotel job has recently been cut from four days a week to two days a week. Rather than Tues, Thurs, Sat, and Sun, I've only been scheduled Sat and Sun. So, this being said, I've recently been looking for a third job since my hotel hours have been cut. However, both Tues AND Thurs this week, the hotel has called (Monday night about coming in Tues, and just now about coming in tomorrow, Thurs) to ask if I can come in and work.
What the fuck?! Either schedule me or don't. I can't live my life wondering if I'm going to be working or not. Number one, it makes it impossible to plan anything (now it fucks up my plans for tonight). Number two, now I'm not sure if I should get a third job or not. How am I supposed to know if I'm going to be working next week or not? Should I get a third job, or are they just going to call me in every day?
I guess I'm just going to have to talk to my boss. Only solution to the problem. But seriously...it pisses me off, and I needed to rant. Fucking UNSTEADY JOB.
