are babies really all that expensive???
one woman that i work with at burger king is 22 years old and has 3 babies. she has a 3 year old, a 2 year old and a 6 month old.  but she works at burger king. so i dunno if she can really afford her babies cause of the lousy pay at burger king or maybe babies arent really as expensive as people claim they are??? are they??

yep.. just because she can manage it, doesn't mean they'll live a good life..

there are so many things to think about, like paying for their education, clothing, food, general needs...

of course you have to manage your own life as well, but having a kid is like paying 2x the amount for a lot of your daily needs

I'm sure they're not in the beginning, but just wait until college. Some people brag about having kids at like 20 and it annoys me because they don't seem all that financially secure. I don't really know what goes on behind closed doors, though. They could be dealin drugs for extra money.

Having children is incredibly expensive. Especially if you're going to provide the best for them. Meaning all the safety precautions around the house. the bottle sterilizer, the crib, the change table, a bag of diapers a week, life insurance, start saving for school, toys, a babysitter.

Not to mention the mental toll it would take.

First of all, 3 kids, at 22, and you can only hold down a job at a burger king?  Come on, its a vagina, not a slip-n-slide.

Second of all, why would you think babies are not expensive?

Clothing, food, diapers, bottles, etc...

Think of how much money you need to live off of, and that is a rough estimate of how much you will spend.  Not living in your parents house, living on your own.  Every bit of water you have to use to bath them, etc...  Children are expensive.
